Shapewear Sizing Guide: Finding Your Perfect Fit

Why Sizing Matters

Getting the right size in shapewear is everything. Too small and you'll be uncomfortable; too big and you won't get the sculpting effect you want. Here's how to find your perfect fit.

Step 1: Measure Yourself

Before ordering, take accurate measurements:

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips
  • Thighs: Measure around the fullest part of each thigh

Use a soft measuring tape and measure over lightweight clothing or underwear for the most accurate results.

Step 2: Check Our Size Chart

Every Curve Theory product page includes a size chart with measurements for each size. Match your measurements to the chart:

  • XS: 32-34 bust, 24-26 waist, 34-36 hips
  • S: 34-36 bust, 26-28 waist, 36-38 hips
  • M: 36-38 bust, 28-30 waist, 38-40 hips
  • L: 38-40 bust, 30-32 waist, 40-42 hips
  • XL: 40-42 bust, 32-34 waist, 42-44 hips
  • XXL: 42-44 bust, 34-36 waist, 44-46 hips
  • 3XL: 44-46 bust, 36-38 waist, 46-48 hips

Step 3: When in Doubt, Size Up

Shapewear is designed to fit snugly, but it should never be painful. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. You'll still get great sculpting without sacrificing comfort.

Step 4: Consider What You're Wearing

Think about what you'll wear over your shapewear:

Step 5: Try It On at Home

When your order arrives, try it on with the outfit you plan to wear it under. Move around, sit down, and make sure you're comfortable. If it doesn't fit, we offer a 30-day return policy — see our Refund Policy for details.

Common Sizing Questions

Should shapewear be tight?

Yes, but not restrictive. You should feel supported and sculpted, but you should be able to breathe, sit, and eat comfortably.

Can I wear shapewear every day?

Absolutely! Our shapewear is designed for all-day comfort. For everyday wear, choose lighter compression pieces like our Booty Lifter Panties.

What if I'm between sizes?

Size up. A slightly larger size will still provide sculpting while keeping you comfortable.
